Renee LaHuffman-Jackson
As the director for Family and School Partnerships, Dr. LaHuffman-Jackson leads the district’s efforts to engage families in FCPS’s priorities and initiatives, which are outlined in the division’s strategic plan. The office works collaboratively with schools to foster collaborative partnerships with families and the community.
Dr. LaHuffman-Jackson previously served as the senior manager of education initiatives at National PTA in Alexandria, Va. She was responsible for the development and implementation of an array of programs, family engagement resources, public education campaigns, and training tools related to PTA's family engagement in education objectives.
She has served as an elementary school principal and assistant principal at the elementary and secondary levels. During her tenure as teacher, she taught all elementary grades except kindergarten and first grade.
Dr. LaHuffman-Jackson is also an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix.
Dr. LaHuffman-Jackson obtained her doctoral degree from Fayetteville State University, her master’s degree from Chapman University and her bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University.
