Jeremy Shughart
Jeremy Shughart is the director of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Admissions, and was appointed to the position in July 2013.
Previously, he served as manager in the Office of Student Testing for two years and was a test administration specialist for over three years. As a career educator, Shughart has served as a teacher, assessment coach and school-based technology specialist in schools across the division with varied demographics, programs, strengths, and needs.
Shughart earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education, social studies, and a bachelor of arts in political science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania; a master of science degree in instructional technology from the University of Wyoming; and an educational specialist degree in educational leadership and administration from Virginia Tech.
