The Crayon Initiative
Bring your unwanted crayons to the front office to be recycled into new crayons!! The remanufactured crayons will be donated to Children's Hospitals and other organizations supporting children through the arts. View this flyer for more information!
Energy Conservation in FCPS
FCPS has recently published this video about energy conservation efforts in our county. We are proud that Centreville Elementary is featured throughout the video and acknowledged at the end for our accomplishment as a top 10 ECO school. Check it out!!

Global STEAM Classroom Initiative!!
5th graders at Centreville Elementary met their virtual partners in Costa Rica for the first time last week to kick off the Global STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Classroom Initiative. In this project students will work collaboratively to solve environmental issues facing both countries. Check out this video to see what that first meeting looked like!
SIS Parent Accounts
Centreville Elementary is providing SIS Parent Accounts to each parent of a student at our school. This will enable access to view your student’s attendance, report card grades, and additional information, establishing another form of communication between home and school. Each family has receive by mail a letter providing a web address, activation key, and directions on registering for your account.
Once an account is set up, bookmark the following link to log in and access the account: https://sisparent.fcps.edu. Learn more by viewing this video and user’s manual.
