In preparation for the future expansion of Cunningham Park, a quad, duplex and single trailer were delivered to our community of existing learning cottages. These additional classrooms will be needed during the construction of a brick and mortar addition beginning in the summer of 2012. With these new additions, we realize that parking has become even more of a challenge. We ask that you be patient with this process and still abide by the normal kiss and ride and parking procedures. In order to create a safe environment for students, staff and parents need to park in appropriate spots to ensure a smooth transition during our busy morning drop off and afternoon pick up times. Thank you for your cooperation as we make our school an even better place for our students to learn and grow. Casey's Kids Care Club is BackThe CPES Kids Care Club is off and running! The Kids Care Club is comprised of roughly 40 4th-6th graders that want to volunteer their time to give back to others. Recently members of our Casey’s Kids Care Club worked together to make posters for the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe drive, created a skit to promote the drive on the CPES News Show and made Valentines cards for children at the Fairfax Hospital cancer ward. The Nike shoe drive will run from March 1st-May 15th so if you have a pair of used shoes you are willing to part with we will happily take the donation. This was a fun way for our cardinals to give back! |
