Hours: 6:45AM – 2:45PM; other hours by appointment

Mr. Martin teaches Basic Technical Drawing, Architectural Drawing, Engineering Drawing, Electronics, and Design and Technology. He also advises the ACE Mentoring Program, an after-school program for students with interests in Architecture, Construction Planning, and/or Engineering. Mr. Martin has a BA in Industrial Arts Education from Central Connecticut State College and an MA in Secondary School Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has been at George C. Marshall High School since Fall 2003; he previously spent 18 years as a teacher and high school adminsitrator in Loudoun County. Mr. Martin received the Virginia Technology Education Association Chester Lane High School Teacher of the Year award for 2009.

Ms. Peyton is a "career switcher" teacher, with 15 years business experience prior to becoming a teacher in 2004. She was formerly a corporate account manager at Bank of America in San Francisco, Controller of Sonic Solutions in its start-up days, and a financial analyst with Sungard Corporation. She also ran her own consulting business in the Northern California area for many years. She moved with her family to Virginia in 2002.

Mrs. Peyton is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University with a BA in Political Science, and she has an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley.
