Questions About Buses?

If you sign on under your student's blackboard account, you should see “Thoreau Activities 2009/10”under the "My Courses" section.  If you click “Thoreau Activities 2009/10”, you will be brought to the Activities site.  On the left hand side of the screen there should be a "transportation" button.  All bus routes are located under there

Intramurals are from 4:00 until late bus arrival on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  All students must be with a teacher from 3:00-4:00.  Students may not leave the building and return at a later time.

After-School Preview

• Late buses are provided on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 

• **Times are subject to change**

   Approximate late bus arrival times for student pick-up:

• Mondays:  4:00
• Wednesdays: 4:50-5:10
• Thursdays:  4:50-5:10

• Late bus runs differ from the morning and afternoon runs.  There are fewer buses and stops.  Late bus runs will be posted in the front lobby and by the cafeteria.

• Weekly activity lists can be found on Blackboard under “Thoreau Activities.”  The list will also be posted on a bulletin board outside of the cafeteria.

• Please encourage your son/daughter to plan ahead.  Scheduling a specific day with his/her teacher prevents any last minute phone calls and concerns. 

• Please use exit #9 on the side of the building near the band room when picking up your student.  Parking in the front of the school will block the buses.

• Late buses are provided on days school dances are scheduled.

• Every student must return the After-School Registration Form that is included in this packet.  Please make sure that both the student and parent signatures are provided.
