Spring Picnic and Book Swap
On May 17th at 5:00, please join us and the rest of the White Oaks community for our annual spring picnic and book swap. Top Kick Martial Arts studio will not only be here to put on an exciting demonstration, but will also provide free face painting. Students can also expect to get a nice cold tasty treat and to meet Ronald McDonald. In addition, we will be holding our 2nd annual book swap. This is a rain or shine event. Festivities will move inside if Mother Nature decides not to play nice. Last year's was a huge success. Don't miss out.
What to bring: Picnic blanket, dinner, and book bucks (see below)
How does the book swap work? A book swap is an easy way for people to exchange books that are no longer being read. Students turn in gently used books between May 13th and the 17th to receive a “book buck” which they may exchange for different books at the swap. *Although there is no limit to the number of books students can donate, we are limiting the number of book bucks per student to 10.
