We invite you to celebrate the diversity of Whitman by joining us for our annual Multicultural Family Night Thursday, May 16th from 5 - 8 p.m. We are proud to serve different cultures in our school, and during this event we will have food, performances, and cultural displays from our students and community.

The last day of our After-School program will be Thursday, May 22nd. Starting Friday, May 23rd, until the end of the year, all students will be sent home at the 2:15 p.m. dismisal.

All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, for the Memorial Day holiday.

IMAGINE Summer Program provides current 7th and 8th-grade students the opportunity to strengthen core Mathematics and English Language Arts skills by focusing on essential standards that will prepare students for success at the start of next school year. The FCPS PreK and Early Head Start program is accepting applications for SY 2024-25. FCPS PreK and Early Head Start programs provide a high-quality early learning experience for qualifying income-eligible children ages six weeks to four years living in Fairfax County.

FCPS is exploring options for adjusting middle school start times and invites the public to be part of the process. Prismatic Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, will lead the forums.

Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.
