-
The kindergarten a.m. and p.m. midday runs will be on a Monday early closing schedule. The p.m. kindergarten students will be released with grades 1 – 6 and will go home as usual.
-
Head Start (FECEP), preschool and Alternative Learning Center (ALC)
schedules will be modified individually and coordinated
between transportation and program staff.
Morning preschool will release on a Monday early closing schedule. Afternoon preschool will follow the Monday arrival schedule but will release two hours earlier than Tuesday-Friday closing schedule. PAC’s Wednesday early release will be canceled and will release two hours earlier than the regular Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule.
-
All other classes will dismiss two hours earlier than the regular
Tuesday-Friday closing schedule. (The reason we don't put full-day
kindergarten classes and grades 1-6 on the Monday early closing schedule
is that it would conflict with the middle and high school bus runs.)
-
Limited pre-approved school activities are allowed (i.e. athletic
scrimmages); however, all regular late bus runs are canceled.
-
The transportation office will be contacting each school to work
out individual issues and exact pick-up times for all students. Although
the intent is to dismiss two hours early, minor adjustments may need
to be made at individual schools.
-
Afternoon Career and Technical Education and afternoon academy
courses are canceled for all students transported to high school
academies, specialized programs, or nonschool-based locations.
-
Recreation programs and community activities are NOT canceled.
-
SACC programs will be available for students when classes are dismissed
and will run until 6:15 p.m. or until the last child is picked
up.
