Important FCPS Instructional Licensure Deadlines

Getting instructional licensure information submitted on time.

To comply with the Code of Virginia (State laws)*, both FCPS and VDOE require that all contracted instructional personnel hold and maintain an active VDOE-issued license with the required endorsement(s) for their current instructional assignment(s). If you do not meet this professional obligation and expectation, then your status will impact Local, State, and Federal reporting for your school and students. It may also impact your performance evaluation and future employment eligibility with FCPS. You will continue to receive notification from the FCPS Office of Licensure until we receive a copy of your active VDOE-issued license with the required endorsement(s) for your current instructional assignment(s).
