2015-2016 FCPS Instructional Job Fairs

The 2015-2016 FCPS Instructional Job Fairs are now complete. They were held on February 28th (postponed from February 21st due to inclement weather) and March 14th.

FCPS wants you to be a part of our team!  We are searching for educators with a strong academic background and a passion to make a difference. To meet increased hiring needs in our critical field areas, we are hosting two job fairs during which we will be interviewing in the following specialty areas.

Special Education
Technology Education
Gifted Education
School Counseling

English as a Second Language
Speech-language Pathologist
World Language

To be considered for an invitation, you must:

Step 1: Be qualified in one of the above areas.

All applicants must meet Virginia Department of Education’s licensure requirements. To be employed with Fairfax County Schools you must have or be eligible for a Virginia license [PDF] appropriate to the position for which you are hired. See Virginia routes of licensure [PDF] to learn more.

Step 2: Apply online

- Go to Instructional Job Opportunities to search for jobs

- Click Search Openings

- Look for school year 2015-2016 in your area of qualification

- To review the details of the job, click the position id number

- After viewing the description, click apply

Step 3: Complete the TeacherInsight (for teaching positions only)

First-time FCPS applicants for teaching positions are required to complete the TeacherInsight, an online interview. You will receive an e-mail with more details about the TeacherInsight once you complete and submit the online application.

Selected applicants will be extended an invitation, via e-mail, to interview.  If you are selected, you will receive an e-mail no later than two days prior to the fair.
