Salary Scales FY23

Salary Scale Period (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023)

The Fairfax County School Board approved the fiscal year 2023 (FY23) budget on May 26, 2022 which includes a 4% Market Scale Adjustment (MSA) for all FCPS employees and a step increase for eligible employees. An additional step was added to the top of all salary scale pay lanes.

In addition, a 0.9 million scale enhancement was approved to bring the family liaison salary scale within the current market range and a 1.3 million salary scale redesign was approved to help with hiring difficulties for bus drivers, bus driver floaters, and bus driver supervisors.

An additional workday was added to all less-than-12-month employee work schedules. Transportation employees will receive one day in addition to all other work schedules.
