Andy Mueck
Andy Mueck was appointed chief operating officer in October 2023, after serving as the vice president of operations for the National Industries for the Blind.
At the National Industries for the Blind, Mueck's duties include business development, contracts and pricing, productivity engineering, products and services development, and the base supply center program. He was responsible for aligning operating departments, as well as building the infrastructure necessary to support the objectives and business plans of the National Industries for the Blind and its associated nonprofit agencies.
Mueck has extensive operations and logistics leadership experience at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. He served 26 years of active service in the Navy, ending his career as the country program officer for Pakistan, Georgia, and Coalition Forces at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. Prior to that, he served as executive officer at the Defense Logistics Agency.
Mr. Mueck has a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington, and a master’s degree from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. He has completed Stanford University’s Executive Program in Strategy and Organization.
