How Families Can Access Secure Messages from FCPS

Secure Portal Registration for Families

We work hard to keep your student’s data protected. We have introduced a secure portal to transfer sensitive information to safeguard the communication between our parents, community, and staff .

Access Secure Messages

You will be required to set up an account the first time our staff sends an encrypted email. 

Set up an Account (First Time Only)

  1. You will receive a 2 emails from FCPS:
    • An email notification that you have a secure message 
    • An email with a verification code
  2. Click the link to read the message in the notification email
  3. You will be taken to a registration page to create an account
  4. Fill out the requested information
  5. Enter the verification code from the second email
  6. Click the Continue button
  7. You will be taken to your secure message

After the account has been created and verified you will not have to do this process again. 

Have an Account

Once your account is set up you will be able to login and access the secure message.

Replying to Messages

To reply to a secure message, click the reply or reply all and include any attachments for our FCPS Staff. This information will stay secure and encrypted as long as it's sent through the portal
