At 7:00 p.m., the National Anthem was performed by the Cherry Run Elementary School Cardinal Chorus under the direction of Pam Wilson.

The School Board approved proclamations honoring Women's History Month and Disability Acceptance/National Disabilities Awareness Month.

The School Board heard from 3 members of the public during Community Participation.

Student Representative Rida Karim presented Student Representative Matters to the School Board.

Noel Klimenko, Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services, presented the staff recommendation for an Elementary Language Arts Basal Instructional Resource. The School Board approved Benchmark Advance, 2022 as the basal instructional resource for Elementary Language Arts.

The School Board also approved amendments to the School Board's proclamation process, additional School Board Advisory Committee Appointments, minutes of the February 22, 2024 meeting, and several contracts.

Superintendent Reid presented a monitoring report on Executive Limitation-5: Financial Planning. The Board found that the Superintendent has made adequate progress towards compliance with EL-5.

Superintendent Reid presented Academic Matters and Superintendent Matters.

Chief Financial Officer Leigh Burden presented a FY 2024 Third Quarter Budget Review.

The Board heard reports from the Audit Committee, Governance Committee, Budget Committee, and the Successful Children and Youth Policy Team Liaison.

Finally, the School Board regular meeting concluded with Board Matters.
