Instruction 2 Industry: A Career Expo for High School Students

During the week of February 13-16, 2023, the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and school divisions across the region, are hosting a Career Fair with panel discussions. Industry experts, in multiple fields, will be speaking on their professional journeys and providing valuable insight into how to achieve your own success. A virtual, but live, event, Instruction 2 Industry, is free to all Northern Virginia high school students. 

Northern Virginia Regional College Fair

George Mason University invites high school students to attend the Northern Virginia Regional College Fair (NVRCF). Join more than 1,500 high school students from the Northern Virginia area and make connections with over 200 institutions from across the United States. The NVRCF will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Eagle Bank Arena. 

Check-In for the event will be located at the South Entrance of EagleBank Arena. Complimentary parking is available in Lot A adjacent to EagleBank Arena. 

Register for the Career and Technical Education Summer Academy

CTE Summer Academy (CSA) is a weekly enrichment program that allows students to dive deeper into CTE program areas and encourages skill development and career exploration. Students are able to personalize their experience by choosing which CTE classes they will take!  Open to students in grades 7-11 during the 2021-22 school year.  Register now. 

High School Students: Register for the Instruction 2 Industry Career Expo

High school students can join us for our upcoming regional career exploration event and participate in live virtual sessions held every night starting on Monday, February 14 through February 17. You will learn about a wide variety of potential career paths and post-secondary options that will prepare you for the next chapter of your educational journey.

 

In-person Attendance at Athletic Events

Due to the continued high rate of COVID-19 transmission, we will continue to limit in-person attendance at athletic events to coaches, athletes, and the parents of both the home and visiting teams through Friday, January 28. All FCPS high school sporting events are available online on the NFHS Network where you can create an account and subscribe and follow to begin watching.
