At Fairfax County Public Schools, students in middle school and high school receive an engaging education in a variety of key subjects.
Middle school students, in grades 7-8, receive instruction in the following subjects:

Family Life Education (FLE)
Health and Physical Education
Mathematics, including PreAlgebra, Algebra, and Geometry
Science and Physical Science
Social Studies, including US History 1865-Present, and Civics and Economics
High school students, in grades 9-12, receive instruction in the following subjects:
Economics and Personal Finance (EPF)
English

Mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra, Functions, and Data Analysis (AFDA)
Science, including Biology, Chemistry, Geosystems, Physics, and Environmental Science
Social Studies, including World History and Geography, and Virginia and US History
Students in middle school and high school can also take classes in a variety of World Languages, including American Sign Language (ASL), Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
