Congratulations to FCPS' Fall 2021 Sports Champions!

Congratulations to all the FCPS student-athletes who participated in this year's fall sports season. This year, two FCPS teams and two individuals won the Virginia High School League (VHSL) championships in their respective sports, and five teams and three individuals were the state runners-up. 

Langley High School Golf team.The teams winning the championship were:

  • Langley High School, Class 6 Golf (sixth consecutive championship, pictured at right).
  • Oakton High School, Class 6 Boys Cross Country (second consecutive championship).

The teams that were state runners-up were:

  • Robinson Secondary School, Class 6 Cheerleading.
  • Madison High School, Class 6 Football.
  • McLean High School, Class 6 Girls Cross Country.
  • Lake Braddock, Class 6 Golf. 
  • Herndon High School, Class 6 Girls Volleyball.

The individuals winning the championship were:

  • Josh Duangmanee, Fairfax High School, Class 6 Boys Golf
  • Sue Lee, Hayfield Secondary School, Class 6 Girls Golf (co-champion)

The individuals that were state runners-up were:

  • Thais Rolly, McLean High School, Class 6 Girls Cross Country.
  • Isaac Garcia, South County High School, Class 6 Boys Cross Country.
  • Chase Nevins, Langley High School, Class 6 Boys Golf.
