Great Beginnings Summer Institute (GBSI) is a four-day professional learning opportunity for novice and veteran teachers new to the county. GBSI will be held from Monday, August 5, through Thursday, August 8. 

Join us for a transformative day designed to introduce new educators to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). This comprehensive event brings together a variety of FCPS offices, including Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll.

Attendees can connect with other essential FCPS departments, professional associations, retirement and healthcare experts, and vendors. This day is designed to provide valuable resources, foster collaboration, and answer any questions. GBSI is your one-stop shop for everything you need as a new educator in our school division.
