FCPS Mobile App Alternative

How to use the fcps.edu website like a mobile app

Follow these steps to add the fcps.edu web site to your home screen (smartphone or tablet): 

 

For iOS (Apple devices including iPhones and iPads)

  • Open up the Safari app on your iOS device.

  • Navigate to the website that will be your shortcut's destination in this case https://www.fcps.edu

  • Tap on the "Share" icon at the bottom. This looks like a square with an arrow pointing upwards.

  • Select the "Add to Home Screen" icon.

  • This screen will display with the title 'FCPS' and the FCPS logo.

  • Tap on the word "Add" in the upper right hand corner.

  • Look for this FCPS logo on your Home screen.

  • Tap the logo when you need to visit www.fcps.edu 

 

Android

  • Launch Chrome for Android and open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen. Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen.
