"Teaching is One of the Noblest and Most Rewarding Professions"
“I think that teaching is one of the noblest and most rewarding professions that exist," says Arabic Language Teacher Nader Hussein. "What attracted me to the teaching profession is the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for languages and cultures with students and help them develop their language skills and cultural competence."
Nader teaches Arabic at Justice High School, one of a handful of schools where the language is offered at FCPS. The programs have experienced growing interest in recent years.
"I believe that learning a language opens doors to new perspectives, ideas, and opportunities, and being a language teacher allows me to facilitate this process and contribute to the personal and academic growth of my students," Nader says. "And my motivation is to shift my student's paradigms from considering Language learning as a target to using it as a tool for creativity and critical thinking.”
