Digital PSAT Replaces Paper in Fall 2023
This October, the PSAT/NMSQT will be administered in Fairfax County in a digital format. Some testing accommodations are administered differently for digital tests than for paper/pencil tests. Additional information is available about accommodations for students with disabilities.

Rida Karim, a sophomore at Woodson High School, has been elected by the countywide Student Advisory Council (SAC) to serve a one-year term as student representative to the Fairfax County School Board, beginning July 1.

School Board Sends Letter to FCPS Community About Court Ruling Involving Thomas Jefferson High School
In a letter to the FCPS community, the School Board says a recent court ruling "confirms that we are moving in the right direction." The court ruled in favor of the School Board in a case challenging changes to the admissions policy for Thomas Jefferson High School.

Fairfax County School Board Adopts FY 2024 Budget With Focus on Student Achievement
The School Board unanimously voted to adopt Fairfax County Public Schools’ (FCPS) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Approved Budget . The budget focuses on closing the achievement gap for all students, and maintaining a world-class public school division by recruiting and retaining outstanding educators.

Third-party Investigation Launched Into Discriminatory Email
