Virtual Mental Wellness Consultation

Any Fairfax County parent may schedule a 45-minute Virtual Mental Wellness Consultation this summer from June 28 through August 6.  The consultation can take place by phone or video conferencing with a school psychologist or school social worker to get the support needed to help your child. There is no cost for this service. 
 

Come Back for 5 Days

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is reaching out to parents, encouraging them to send their children back to in-person learning this fall.  Take a look at images on banners, yard signs, and social media that highlight exceptional programs available to students as FCPS returns strong.

 

Election Day

 Tuesday, June 8, 2021 is Election Day. FCPS school facilities will be used as polling locations. For that reason, June 8th will be a virtual synchronous learning day for students.

Broadband Benefit

There is now a new Emergency Broadband Benefit available to eligible households through the Federal Communications Commission.   This is a temporary benefit that will help to lower the cost of internet broadband service during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.  Find out more.

Return to School

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is partnering with families to ensure we keep students and staff safe and healthy as we return to school buildings for learning. Working together, we will follow recommended health guidance that focuses on student health, safety, and emotional well-being.

Stop the Spread

Your actions keep all of us healthy, and we need to keep it up, working together to help slow the spread of COVID-19. There are some simple steps you can take to protect yourself and your family. And testing, contact tracing, and staying home and away from others when sick or after contact with someone who is sick, are also critical to help “box in” COVID-19 and prevent it from spreading further in our community.
