The Fairfax Network
Created in 1990 by FCPS to Support Student Achievement
Since 1990, Fairfax Network has been involved in the exciting field of distance learning. The Network's Passport Collection—K-12 enrichment, parenting, and staff development programs—is distributed via online video stream and is received by schools and cable systems in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and New South Wales, and Germany. Many of the programs come with additional resource information, teacher guides, and classroom activities created to fit seamlessly into the curriculum. Fairfax Network programs are free to schools, school systems, cable companies, and public television programmers.
