Accelerated Workforce Education (AWE) is an affordable program for young adults seeking guidance in planning their education and career after high school. AWE is offered through a partnership between FCPS Adult and Community Education (ACE) and FCPS K-12 programs. AWE students work toward certification in Apprenticeship, Health Science, or Business and Information Technology pathways by attending subject specific courses learning real-world, practical skills.

Career and Transition Services provides assistance with adult agency referrals and linkages to postsecondary services for students to include college accommodations, the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board.
The Department of Strategy, Planning, and Learning is responsible for strategy and planning, division wide professional learning, research and strategic improvement, and portfolio management. The department reports to the Chief of Staff.

The Advisory Committee for Students with Disabilities is a local advisory committee for special education, appointed by each local school board, shall advise the school board through the division superintendent. This information is for school year 2020-21.
