Fairfax County Public Schools has almost completed the process of drafting a new Strategic Plan, which will guide the school division in the years ahead. As a community, strong schools matter to all residents. Feedback from families, employees, students, community members, and community partners has been an important part of this effort.  

Before completing FCPS’ new Strategic Plan, we encourage you to share your final input on the most recent draft goals, measures, and pillars. Your feedback will help FCPS know whether they  are on the right path to ensuring a thriving future for each and every student. When our students succeed, the entire Fairfax County community benefits. Your voice matters!

We’re Getting Closer to Having a New Strategic Plan!

The School Board held a retreat to review the Strategic Plan feedback that has been gathered so far. Later this week, parents/caregivers, staff, students, and community members will have a final opportunity to provide feedback on the latest version of the draft goals, measures, and pillars. Please stay tuned for the survey link. As Dr. Reid said in her Weekly Reflections, “We are moving closer to having clear and specific goals that will drive our work from now until 2030.” Thank you for being a part of this important work! FCPS casi ha completado el proceso de redactar un nuevo Plan Estratégico, que guiará a nuestra división escolar en los próximos años. Por favor participe en nuestra breve encuesta sobre la opinión final en el borrador de las metas, medidas, y pilares del Plan Estratégico. Los objetivos son lo que queremos para todos los estudiantes, y las medidas son cómo vamos a determinar nuestro progreso en el logro de esos objetivos.
