The Cigna Open Access Plus (OAP) plan makes it easy to get quality, in-network care with access to a large, national network of providers. Plus, you have the option to choose a primary care provider to coordinate your care and you don't need specialist referrals. Additionally, Cigna provides a superior plan offering with a strong commitment to customer service and an increased focus on wellness and disease management programs to improve employee health. Some highlights include:

  • 97% of primary care providers currently utilized by FCPS participants are in the Cigna network. Use the “Find a Doctor” search tool on Cigna's website to search for your provider.
  • No referrals are required for specialists.
  • No prior authorizations are required for complex radiology (MRIs and CT scans).
  • Interactive member tools for searching for doctors, care, and cost estimates.
