No-Cost Mental Health Teletherapy for All High School Students
FCPS has partnered with Hazel Health to help eliminate barriers to quality mental health care services for all high school students, at no cost to families. Therapy sessions with Hazel Health are a safe space and are private and confidential.
With Hazel, your child can get the mental health care they need, at home, at no cost to you.
Hazel is HIPAA compliant.
Hazel’s therapists can help your child with:
Mood/behavior changes, motivation, grief/loss
Anxiety, worry, fears
Social skills, bullying, peer & family relationships

Your child participates in weekly therapy sessions Hazel matches your child with a licensed therapist and contacts you within 48 hours to schedule an appointment. The therapist helps to address identified concerns during weekly virtual therapy sessions.Appointments are available at home, Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Therapy completion Your child achieves their therapy goals and is discharged from the therapy program.
Care coordination If needed, Hazel helps connect your child with long-term mental health services in the community.
Hazel’s therapists are locally licensed.
