Six FCPS Teams, Eleven Individuals Win 2023-24 VHSL Academic and Activity Championships
FCPS students compete in a variety of academic and activity-based competitions throughout the school year. This year, six teams and 11 individuals won the Virginia High School League (VHSL) academic championship and six teams and eight individuals were the state runners-up.
Five FCPS Teams, 17 Individuals Win 2024 Spring VHSL Sports Championships
Congratulations to all the FCPS student athletes who participated in the 2024 spring sports season. This year, five teams and 17 individuals won the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 6 championship in their respective sports, and six teams and 18 individuals were the state runners up.

FCPS Students Earn 30 National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
FCPS students received 30 national awards through the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. FCPS students were recognized for original art and writing with one American Visions Medal, eight Gold Medals, 20 Silver Medals, and two portfolio Honorable Mentions.
