FCPS has developed Regulation 1502, Expectations for Meditation and Silent Reflection Space Accommodations, to ensure all students and staff have reasonable accommodation and access to meditation and silent reflection spaces within the school division. The regulation provides guidance for schools on how to manage requests for silent reflection during instructional and non-instructional time, and for students to leave school for religious activities.
The Mosaic Elementary project includes renovations and additions bringing the future building area to approximately 122,000 square footage, consisting of classrooms, gymnasium, administration and cafeteria/kitchen expansion, and site improvements.
The FCPS World Languages Credit By Exam assesses language proficiency. The exam provides up to three World Language credits. Exam credits may also fulfill the World Languages requirements for the Advanced Studies Diploma and the Virginia Department of Education’s Seal of Biliteracy.
