Learn how FCPS grows their own teachers and operational employees
Grow Your Own programs identify and support FCPS students and employees who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or other operational career opportunities and pathways. Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has a growing need for teachers and operational staff to work in our school division. At FCPS our programs identify students and employees who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and operational positions as well as opportunities to support their goal.
Current FCPS programs include the Special Education Teaching Licensing Cohort (featured in video below), Educators Rising Club, Early Childhood Careers, Teachers for Tomorrow, Trades for Tomorrow pathways, and Back2Fairfax Teacher and Operational Seminars.
